Bindu Krishnasamy is an associate at Sapir & Frumkin LLP. She handles a wide range of matters on behalf of employees, employers and labor unions, with a concentration in employment discrimination and retaliation, employment benefits and whistleblower claims. Ms. Krishnasamy was a Brooklyn Law School Post-Graduate Public Service Legal Fellowship recipient. As a legal fellow, she assisted with housing discrimination litigation and worked with rent-stabilized and rent-controlled tenants to fight illegal landlord practices. During law school whe was a law intern for the City of New York, Office of Labor Relations, and participated in the BLS Legal Services Workers' Rights clinical program. Ms. Krishnasamy is a graduate of Binghamton University, where she was a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the History Honor Society. She received her law degree from Brooklyn Law School, where she was a 2005 Richardson Merit Scholar. While in law school, she was a member of the Student Hurricane Network and provided legal assistance to victims of Hurricane Katrina as a volunteer for an environmental group in New Orleans, Louisiana. She also served as a co-chair of the Entertainment Law Society and was a member of the Enviornmental Law Group. Ms. Krishnasamy is admitted to practice in New York.
