Leanne Hamovich is an associate attorney at Sapir & Frumkin LLP. She practices in the area of employment and labor law and represents both employees and employers. Her concentration is in employment discrimination, retaliation and ERISA matters. Ms. Hamovich previously worked in the Litigation Bureau at the New York State Attorney General's Office. During law school, she was a judicial extern to the Honorable Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum in the Southern District of New York and worked as an intern at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in New York's District Office. She was also a research assistant to Professor Seth D. Harris and contributed to three of his publications on disabilities accommodations. Ms. Hamovich graduated cum laude from New York Law School, and is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, with admission pending in Massachusetts. She is admitted to the federal courts for the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York. Prior to law school, Ms. Hamovich obtained a Masters Degree in Industrial Relations and worked for Fairmont Hotels and Resorts in the field of Human Resources.
